A living room is a place where we welcome our guests, celebrate holidays, watch TV with friends, organize small gatherings for birthdays or on weekends.
A living room must be spacious, its color palette should not be evident. There must not be much furniture or unnecessary accessories in this room. Sofa sets for a living room can become the basic and only furniture due to which the room will be comfortable and spacious.
#1 by Annabell Kutucu A large light room designed mostly in light colors. White walls and light brown floor provide a stunningly light and warm feeling. The dark brown sofa made in a minimalistic style dilutes the light tones. We can see that the color of the sofa is warm, hence, despite the dark shade the feeling of comfort is created in the room. Three large windows provide sufficient daylight in the room and if you want to abate the sunlight – you can drop the dark curtains, which are made to fit the color of the sofa and the accessories. We can observe a smooth combination of three color hues in this living room – from white to dark brown. The white ceiling and walls create air space whilst the sofa draws attention to itself. There is nothing extra in the room, it is as if created for heart-to-heart talks with friends or reading books after the work day. The strict style of the room is diluted with the accessories – baskets on the floor and the patterns on the ceiling perimeter.
#2 by Eduard Caliman Here we can see combinations of straight and flowing lines, accents with bright and eye-catching accessories. The whole look of the room can be characterized as restrained business performed in nuanced tones and suited to each other with the color palette. Inhomogeneous walls are made to suit the wood creating a unique texture and changing from a light shade to a darker one. The coffee table and the armchair are made in the color of the dark wood, too. A light gray sofa stands against the background of the dark wall. Several dark pillows on the sofa create not only a balance but also bring comfort to the business and laconic style of the room. The main accent is made with the help of a bright yellow picture, yellow-colored pillow, and the lamp. Without such bright accents, the entire interior of the room would look dull. The yellow bright accessories dilute it making it bright and adding some “flavor”.
#3 by Jan Wadim The designer perfectly showed how different forms and figures, which seem to be incompatible, are combined in the interior of this room. The general tone of the room – beige-brown, light. It creates a feeling of an airy space and lightness. The pictures on the left corner, which stand out for their bright colors on the background of the room interior immediately draw attention. The pictures above the sofa, where you can see images of simple geometric shapes, add a certain “flavor”, too. They perfectly complete the overall picture – the interior would look incomplete without them. The heavy drapes play a very important role in the room – they are pulled aside during the day to free up space for sunlight and protect from the glare of lamps or the moon in the evenings, which makes the living room cozier.
#4 by Jordan Pierguidi The dark top creates a feeling of a low ceiling. The living room is designed in two contrasting colors – black and white. The business and laconic styles are diluted by the big picture on the wall in the style of the late Renaissance, the clock with a broken arrow and the green tree in the corner. The designer decided to combine several styles making the immortal classic – combination of black and white the basis.
#5 Observing the room from this side we can see a white staircase with lights. The white staircase creates lightness especially in the contrast to the dark ceiling and floors. It seems to “take up” to the sky. We can also see plenty of accessories on the table. We pay attention to the floor made in a chaotic style, but also close to the combination of black and white shades. Despite the combination of a large number of various styles, the general interior of the room is integral, you don’t have the feel of fragmentation. This living room style will suit creative people, who can’t determine upon one single style or simply love several styles at once.
#6 by Mark Hunter The spacious room with a huge window on the whole wall designed in light warm colors will definitely attract a man with a light character, who loves to spend time at home, create comfort, welcome guests and who does not love conflicts. We can see a large sofa in the room, which can be used both as a sofa and a large bed due to its transforming function. The main color of the furniture and accessories – warm shades of beige with the addition of light peach color. The living room will suit those who love natural fabrics. The set of cushions made of dark material, as well as the big tree in the corner of the room, dilute the light design. The large window offers a stunning view over the city providing the room with enough sunlight.
#7 by Marko Zecevic The impressions of the living room are ambiguous. Here we can see a combination of business style, minimalism, and impressionism. The motto of the designer seems to be “Nothing in excess”. The smooth transition from dark gray to white creating a resemblance to the gradient makes the design of this living room memorable and original. This room seems to be designed for gathering with friends, watching TV and weekend relaxing with a small company. There is also a small table right by the sofa side and a large TV here. There is nothing extra that could distract or disturb. The highlight of the interior is the big painting in Impressionism style which is the only bright spot in the whole room and which gives uniqueness to the interior.
#8 The design of this room is more similar to a cabinet rather than a living room. We can see a white table surrounded by the sofa and the armchair. It seems that people will now enter the room and start discussing work or business. The room is also implemented in the contrast of light and dark, yet here we can observe a combination of cold shades. The whole cold color of the room is softened with the warm floor in red-brown tones. The white rug and light gray furniture look very bright on the background of such a floor. The atmosphere creates a feeling of comfort, serenity. The picture of a sunset and the sea has an additional effect. This room is convenient for solving conflicts or discussing business ideas, as everything in the interior calls for peace and conflict resolution.
